DVD playback problem (Warty)

:) T23s aren't exactly new....

In fact, the DVD is a combo DVD/CDRW which I moved from an earlier
laptop (T20) to the T23. I've used the same drive for playing DVDs
under Slackware 10 and Win2K.

I'm getting the same results with both Totem-Xine and Xine itself. So
far, I've no idea what is wrong.
