If you don't like, you can turn it of using gconf
(apps-nautilus-always_us_browser)

Not having an adressbar is essential to spatial mode, but you can always
use file->open location

You are looking at spatial through the eyes of an already (excuse the
term) perverted user. Years of using an explorer-like interface has led
many people to believe that that is the easy way. Now try looking at it
from the eyes of a new user: The icon _is_ the
folder/application/whatever. When you're using a real-life filing
cabinet, when you open a folder inside a drawer, the drawer doesn't
automatically shut, it stays where it was. When you open a document
inside that folder, the folder stays open and in it's place. And when
you return a folder to the filing cabinet, the next time you open it,
it's still where you left it. That's spatial.

Just try spatial mode for a while (and try opening folders with the
middle-mousebutton, or when pressing shift). If you still don't like
after a while, turn it off. If you do like it, welcome to the wonderful
world of intuitive and user-friendly computing ;-)
