Cell phone connection to Internet..??

Yes I have spent at least that much time...and ... found lots of stuff
that may or may not be useful. (Nokia 8310 Linux) The problem is as a
Linux Challenged newbie I can't sort the wheat from the chaff.... so I was
hoping/praying that someone has trod the road before me :)

I have actually managed to compile and load a module.... even edited a
couple of config files (Got two stars for that)

So yes you are speaking to an "Lidiot" as opposed to a "Widiot" :)

All I need is some software that will recognise the phone as a modem like
windows does and allow me to set the number and username etc. Of course if
there is a more complicated method, I'll be up for that as well :)
