PS Thom -- I do agree that the user ought to set the behaviour, but,
this shouldn't be done at the expense of functionality for most people
(in computers, I do advocate for the tyranny of the majority in most
cases (because the minority can often have a solution which works for
them, regardless of the majority way of doing things (for e.g. a
browser could be built to choose to reply to list as default (perhaps
using a lists of addys) or to individual)... very different from civil
rights & tyranny of "majority").

PSS If having reply-to user cuts down on list traffic I can live with
that. (of course, it increases list traffic for people who post ;-).
