90%? I don't know... counting Fedoras, Mandrakes, Suse and so on using
RPMs eventualy yes, RPM rules... but even in that case the left 10% are
not zero!!! Same arguments can be used for Debian, there are a lot
debian-based distro... and debian by it self isn't exactilly a small
business. 

But the 2nd part, i don't get the point.... Wich "company with limited
resources" are you talking about? ATI? NVIDIA? Small? and in that case
Linux in all is small compared with Windows users (Internet servers
don't usually use 3D accelereted graphic cards, the main question
here). So whats the point in doing even a RPM? 

My complains was just, Why can nVidia gives a simple binary
distro-independent and ATI can't? (not counting the never ending
problems of fglrx and is poor performance :?: )
