How to get LinNeighborhood working?

dare2dreamer, do you have any more information on the bug you mention
below? Is it being fixed with Hoary? I've had a number of permission
problems with accessing shares on my BSD box from Ubuntu (accessing
Win shares with CIFS on the same network has worked okay), and I'm
wondering if perhaps it's related to the bug you mention. Thanks.
