GDM issues

Well, it keeps giving me the keeps crashing screen, telling me that it 
cannot start an X server because one is already running.  I know it's 
GDM because KDM and XDM work just fine.

I get that all the time anymore when using GDM.

However, I shall try the three-finger salute.
