What I want for nautilus & gnome

Hi Davide,

I can't remember exactly what I did back then (have re-installed Ubuntu
since). But I am pretty sure I tried what you suggest. The problem is
that it would only cure the problem for that kind of text file, but not
all the others !
Say I do that for a "*.txt" file, if I click on a script, or a *.conf or
*.ini or any configuration file that has NO extension (and there are
millions of them in Linux !), Gnome would still fire up Scream instead
of Gedit, despite I explcitely told Gnome to use Gedit as the default
for ANY text file (not just  *.txt files!).

Not a problem now, it's all re-installed and I don't use scream anymore
just in case. I only meant to give an example to illustrate that the
MIME system in Gnome could be improved.
