Sharing Files With Windows PC

Ok I have managed to get to the stage where I am browsing the shares
from the notebook (ubuntu) but when I click on the desktop's folder I
can't access the files because user details are required. Unfortunately
I don't see how I am supposed to add the details to the setup.

This is from the Wiki article "Before showing a computer's shares, your
system may prompt you for a name and password. Fill in the form with the
credentials of a valid user for the computer you're connecting to. You
may additionnaly store that password in your keyring for convenience."
