Henrik,
I looked at the online version of TheOpenCD 2.0 and have a few
comments
The Navigate menu should be more prominent (at the very least at the
top of the list...) I don't think you need a full set of icons at the
top of the window or anything like that, but an icon linking back to
the home screen would be helpful.
In the Ubuntu section, I wouldn't bother mentioning KDE. Why clutter
the issue... Just mention that the system is infinitely changeable to
meet your needs. If you are going to tout the no icons on the desktop
thing as a feature, you might want to mention something like
"Maintenance tasks that would normally be done though desktop icons
which get hidden behind your open windows can instead be done though
the user-friendly Computer menu in the top toolbar"
Minor correction: the audio ripper CDex uses the freedb database to
find song titles, not CDDB. CDDB turned into an evil corporate
proprietary system and the user community switched to freedb
TheOpenCD is one of the coolest ideas I have seen come out of the open
source community. I am glad you are teaming up with my favorite Linux
distro, Ubuntu. Both projects are emphasize utility AND polish.
Keep up the great work
