No LDAP support in evolution?

These would (mostly) only be useful if you wanted to run an LDAP server
locally. The name of the LDAP daemon in ubuntu is "slapd", if you want
to do so. Otherwise, the other person replied correctly, as you have to
set up an LDAP server in evolution if you want evolution to use LDAP
content. Have you tried adding servers?
