Ubuntu KDE

i get the impression that most ubuntu users use ubuntu BECAUSE it ships
with gnome only till now. yes, kde is not bad (or on equal terms with
gnome) but it is more bloated, less stable and there are many many good
distros that use kde as default desktop or as the only desktop. i am
happy with the gnome-thing, although i was a die-hard kde user till
version 3.3 came out. the buggyness and the stipud naming of apps in
kde kreally kdrove kme kmad and made me switch to gnome based distros.
and i hope that it will stay that way.
