Sorry, but is this an insult, a joke or did you just decide to not
read the OP?
On my box:
ralf at hobbes:/$ ldd /sbin/fdisk
libc.so.6 => /lib/libc.so.6 (0x0fea2000)
/lib/ld.so.1 => /lib/ld.so.1 (0x30000000)
ralf at hobbes:/$
where does libparted come in here? IF you don't understand this, try to
resize a partitiion with fdisk ... (no, dont'!).
To the OP: have you tried 'parted'? That's basically the comandline
interface to libparted.
