Painfull Evolution and network things

When I take my laptop to work I have to do the following every day :
root at a31ptp:/ # killall -9 evolution-exchange-storage
root at a31ptp:/ # killall -9 evolution-alarm-notify
root at a31ptp:/ # killall -9 evolution-data-server-1.0
root at a31ptp:/ # ifconfig eth1 down
root at a31ptp:/ # ifconfig eth1 up
root at a31ptp:/ # ip route add default via 172.24.192.5 metric 0
The first three are because Evolution and the exchange plug-in has
just gone to hell for some reason (The hard drive goes berserk until I
run those commands.. the laptop runs like a dog until I do it.)
the next three are because I want to use a gateway different to the
DHCP default when ever I'm on this network.. Is there any way to
automate the second or have it add it on its own when it picks up a
DHCP address from this specific range?
