GNOME vs. KDE
What's so special about having one or the other?
On YellowDogLinux 3 (FC2-based) I found KDE to be a touch more
"powerful" out of the box, but that "power" (quotes very intentional)
comes with a usability price and wasn't as stable as GNOME. GNOME's
simplicity also make it more usable IMNSHO.
PS Why a US-only KDE-Ubuntu distro? Is KDE particularly popular inside
the US and not outside that country?
Eric.
