Screem + UTF8

hi, there:
I had some problems with Screem on Ubuntu distro, as its Hoary version
is set using UTF-8. I couldn't even start using Screem because of the
entry method used by X {sounds weird, but I could only write a word if
Caps-Lock was on, elsewhere, Screem thought that the Alt Key was on}.
Now, because of the upgrading of the libX entry method, I can {at last!}
write a document using Screem.
But.
I cannot reopen a single document made by Screem unless I do something
tricky before. I think that the problem is {again} utf-8 vs iso-8859-1.
I begin writing; no problem at all {no more caps-lock on needed}. I can
save the document and open it in firefox. But I cannot reopen it with
screem once saved. I must open it using a text-editor and save it
afterwards as an UTF-8 text document. Then Screem let me open it again
as if nothing had happened.
What do you think I'm doing wrong?
I keep on learning.
