so try adding the snd_intel8x0m to /etc/hotplug/blacklist then, that it
doesnt get loaded at all (its a softmodem module, as the m
indicates ....) 
(i had a similar issue with my toshiba laptop where adding it
to /etc/hotplug/blacklist didnt help to prevent the loading....if this
happens to you too, add it to /etc/hotplug/blacklist.d/alsa-base ...
that helped for me)
