For DOS games, instead of using wine, you might want to try DOSBox: http://dosbox.sourceforge.net/ The deb package is a bit outdated (works fine, though. I still use it), but you might try compiling it from source or alienating the rpm if you want the latest build (do we have dosbox in the apt repository?). -N -- greenmartian
