Kernel Question

Hi,

I am having trouble getting suspend.sh to work with my Compaq Presario
2100 (2199US) laptop. I close the lid, nothing happens. I open the lid,
the box seems to go to suspend mode. Nothing but pressing on the Power
button wakes it up. When it "wakes up", the screen is black and nothing
happens, it is completely not responsive.

Also, the battery gets eaten in no time when running with Ubuntu. It
takes much longer for this to happen under the XP.

Nothing really shows up in the logs.

Attached is the dmesg.

Thanks,
Ognen
