Here's something posted to IdeaStorm just a couple days ago but it has
already reached the IdeaStorm front page and received 500+ votes in favor.
With
430+ Diggs, could it hit the top 10 tomorrow?

http://digg.com/linux_unix/Dell_FREEDOM_Box_A_Fully_Open_System_for_Home_Users_by_2010

"Tell Dell to set a goal of having at least one fully open system for home
users by the end of 2010! This would be Dell's greatest endeavor yet! The
Dell FREEDOM Box | From the software, all the way down to the hardware, a
completely open system"

It may seem like a idealistic, but isn't it worth supporting?

Thoughts? How do you imagine Dell *could* turn something like this into a
huge success? A win for Dell and the Open Source community?
