 Love my Lucid Puppy for low resource machines. There are
several puppets available for games that might be of interest.

Nice thing about Puppy is it makes the oldest of machines feel top of the
line. I have a 800 mhz laptop with 256mb of ram booting from an old 512
compact flash. I use the hard drive as a home networked ftp server.
