Execute shell script from application pannel.

This really depends on more of a "how would you like to" basis. I myself
use the following:

1) Right click on the panel
2) Choose "Add applet" 
3) Choose "Run Application" 

This adds a gear icon to the panel. Clicking on this gear will allow you
to execute any binary either by path or that is in your path.
