heh. "IRC" stands for "Internet Relay Chat," a internet service commonly
used [esp. in the Open Source community] to make chat rooms on the Internet.
The easiest way to get online is to use the
webapp<http://webchat.freenode.net/?nick=ubuntuWi-Guest&channels=ubuntu-us-wi>,
though of course more help is just a quick Google away.

My guess is that this isn't too far away from you :-)
