I've gotten some questions about where this is on Sunday, so I figured I'd
send this out again.
*Time:* 1:00 – Sunday, May 2nd (extended to 4 instead of the usual 3 in
order to make time for pizza and gaming)
*Place:* UW Computer Science
Building<http://www.map.wisc.edu/?initObj=bdg_CmpSc>(if you get HTML
email, this is a link to directions, but if you type in the
address your favorite mapping program, it shouldn't have any problems
finding it)

Disclaimer First: If others want to help plan release parties for other
distros, I'd be happy to help with that, but since Ubuntu Release Parties
are "a thing," that's what we're giving a shot.
*MadLUG Ubuntu Release Party – FREE PIZZA and Linux Gaming!*
The May MadLUG presentation will be take place this Sunday and the topic
will be a talk on .
*Time:* 1:00 – Sunday, May 2nd (extended to 4 instead of the usual 3 in
order to make time for pizza and gaming)
*Place:* UW Computer Science
Building<http://www.map.wisc.edu/?initObj=bdg_CmpSc>
1210 West Dayton Street – Room 2310
Donations are welcome on the pizza and we'll be ordering at 1 after we see
who shows up, but it'd be great if you RSVPed so we can have some idea of
how large the order will be. Please make our guest feel welcome by being
punctual or coming much later to game, so as not to interrupt the
presentation.
Aside from the release *party*, I am quite excited to tell you that *Anthony
Hook, the leader of the Ubuntu Local Community (LoCo) will be coming down
from Superior to talk about the latest release, Lucid Lynx 10.04*. This is
a special release as it is a LongTerm Support (LTS) release. Again, if
others want to bring in community leaders from other distros, I would love
that. In fact, if anybody wants to present at the monthly presentations,
please let me know.
On top of the presentation, we'll be running an experiment in *Linux
gaming*and playing Warsow:
