I wouldn't "already be attending," but I would be more than happy to
staff a table if others are interested in touching base there from
time to time. Ideally, I'd like to have some company part of the time,
and also have some time to wander around and see what's going on. I'm
not very plugged-in to any of this stuff, but i'm interested in
helping out, and getting to know more.

I think both are valuable. Also other groups who may value freedom and
free culture. Just off the top of my head, the Mountain Man gathering
that takes place somewhere locally, and some of the music festivals
such as bluegrass, folk music and other "home-grown" sorta stuff.
Also, maybe Hempfest?

Thanks for raising the question. It's a good time to pull out the
calendars and start planning!
