I don't use the CLI as often as I should, because it's so powerful.
(And I've screwed stuff up royally a few times). So I generally stick
with what I know. What I love are copy/paste commands and a bit of
explanation. Thanks for providing that, you two.
One of the reasons I've been successful using *buntu without relying
on my Linux-using son for everything, is that when I google, I often
find wonderful write-ups with step by step instructions. I've learned
so much from these. I wish that upgrades didn't bollux my USB,
soundcard, or wireless -- but when it happens, I can often fix it
without asking for too much help in IRC. :-)
Blog about your problems and their solutions, people! So that people
like me can save cell minutes!
