A lot of us have met at GSLUG and other linux-ey events. We have sort
of run a table at Linux Fest North West in conjunction with the
now-defunct PNW loco team. I dont think anyone has a real idea of
whats going on, since were all still figuring it out and trying to get
this team running.

Try looking at the work-in-progress wiki pages. they might help clear
some of it up. On mailing lists, things happen fast, and catching up
is pretty hard. A blog is a great idea, if we can get someone who is
willing to update it.
see https://wiki.ubuntu.com/WashingtonTeam/ for the wiki. Hopefully that helps.
