I have a lot more free time then I did previously however my work shift may cause problems with organizing meetings (I work wed-sat) so I'm happy to help get things rolling.

The website is still up. Pnw.ubuntu-us.org. But we will not be able to
get wa.ubuntu-us.org until we have our team approved by the ubuntu CC,
that means doing events and other stuff that makes us approvable.
Ubuntu forums is happy to provide us with a subforum as said here, but
the requestor needs to be the team contact.
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=290685. Im happy to also
provide hosting for a blog but i dont see the need currently.

So umm, lets either get Chuck to make the request (are you around?) or
figure out who we are going to have as team contact.
Im happy to do it, but I also have lots of other stuff going on in my
life in the coming months, so someone with a less busy life might be a
better choice. Comments? Other people want to do this? I don't want to
step on Chuck's toes, but people seem to have time and we should
really work on getting this thing off the ground.
