Have any of you been using Google Hangouts and would you be interested in
doing it in conjunction with an IRC meeting? If the Wed 8:00 p.m isn't the
best time, what time would you prefer to try this experiment?
Did any of you attend UDS http://summit.ubuntu.com/uds-1308/? They had a
couple of sessions where the topic of Loco's were discussed.
I haven't attended an #ubuntu-us-va IRC chat for quite some time... I was
looking to find out what I missed and http://irclogs.ubuntu.com doesn't
appear to be logging the channel.
I live in a rural area of VA and it is more than an hour drive to Hampton
Roads, Richmond or Fredericksburg. I have occasionally gone to
twuug.orgmeetings, but they rarely announce planned topics which makes
it difficult
to figure out if it is worth attending... Occasionally I go to a meeting
in Richmond...
If we want to plan something, as they did at UDS, I think we could use the
Ubuntu Etherpad at http://pad.ubuntu.com/. I think I heard that some
funding might be available for a release event, but I would need to check
on the details...
UDS sessions are done online these days and it's all available online.
