John, <br><br>I have never had the problems to which you refer. I consistently run acroread with great success. Evince has some real problems with copy/paste and rendering things incorrectly. Acrobat Reader is a much better tool for this.

Bear in mind, that once installed, the adobe reader kind of takes over<br>and is hard to remove. I found it to be much, much slower than the<br>default evince reader. I also prefer the zoom feature in evince but<br>maybe that's personal preference. I'm not sure why you would really
