I think what we need most is advocation, not developers. What the team
seems to be lacking is a solid direction in how we can get the Great
State of Utah involved in Free Software, Open Source and Ubuntu. If
people have contacts to school districts, non-profits, etc., I think we
could really make a dent.

For example, XMission sponsors (plans? coordinates?) community courses
at the main SLC library on 4th S. I taught Ubuntu a couple of times to
people there. Even though only 4-5 would show up, they were always new
faces.

Lots of stuff can be done with development experience. In fact, I don't
think development experience is going to help us much now. We want
people opening their months, planning activities and meetings, release
parties, BBQs, etc. Stuff that gets the community involved. We need
people documenting and planning stuff on the wiki. Really, the team is
about advocation, and I believe that is what should be most important
for us now.
