I thought I should add my two-cents to this thread. I meant to do so
yesterday but I'm on a project deadline at work and haven't found much
time..

Ever since the Utah Open Source Conference I've been talking with Mike
(Technoviking) off-list regarding the team leadership. He mentioned to
me that he had taken the position based on it needing leadership, and
nobody else stepping up to take it. We discussed the possibility of me
coming back, but I sat on the idea for a while. It wasn't until my
wife (the only other response to this thread so far!) suggested that I
do it that it really started moving.

For those that don't know me (based on my lack of recent activity on
this list), I started this team in late 2005. I then led the team
until early 2008, when my first daughter was born. I've been kind of
away from things since that time, but still actively using Linux. I
simply haven't had the time to contribute as heavily to a project.
Over the last two years I think it has become clear that I've missed
being able to do that, so here I am.

I plan on being able to attend the monthly meetings, and I'd like to
try and improve relationships with and discuss activities for more of
our "remote" members (think southern utah, utah county, etc).

If you have any team ideas, suggestions for presentations, community
activities or other projects you think would be worthwhile please let
me know.
