[ubuntu-us-ut] SSH & CD-ROM upgrade

I'm lazy; I like to do everything I can over SSH. So I tried a
distribution upgrade from Feisty to Gutsy via the cdrom upgrade over
SSH. This is not a good idea: toward the end of the process, something
shut off the NIC, which killed SSH, leaving the GUI waiting for
something. I finally rebooted.

The upgrade was not complete, but synaptic told me to run "dpkg
--configure -a", so I did. As far as I know, everything is now
working, but I really don't know.
