Perl 5.8.8 in Ubuntu 6.06

When I went from 5.10 to 6.06, lots of stuff broke. Christer helped me
get most of it fixed, but my screensaver has never been the same. It
took a couple of days to get everything working right again.

Already installed from source. Creating a .deb file sounds like a good
deal more work than I think I can handle.

I thought about that... but it scares me a little too. I think I would
prefer to just go to 6.10.
