Thanks gentlemen. That has solved two problems. It was firefox that wouldn't shutdown when it was supposed to and I had to go to System Monitor to clear that, and now I can work getting WordPress up.<br><br>Dan H.<br>

version 3, Firefox stopped incrementing the second digit. So version<br>
8 can really be thought of as 4.4.<br>

3.6.24 still gets security updates, and I continue to run it on some<br>
of my machines.<br>
