Scanning from HP printer

I have an HP Officejet 4650 Printer that has scanning capabilities, but I
need software for my computer to receive the scanned image.  I am running
UBUNTU 16.04 LTS.  The HP manuals apply to Windows or MAC.  The printing
functions work fine with my LINUX machine.  Does anyone know how to make
the scanning work on a UBUNTU LINUX system?
