Official Ubuntu 10.04 CD

As many of you on these lists know I loaded Ubuntu 12.04 on my new Asus
notebook.  I waded through the strange user interface and was determined to
make do - until I  got stuck trying to get MySQL to work.  I gave up on
12.04 and loaded 10.04 from the CD I created for my previous system.  That
was encouraging until I realized this installation did not see the wireless
or the hardwired ethernet connection.  They both were recoginzed by 12.04.

There may be something I am missing on my 10.04 CD.  I can't find a 10.04
version at Ubuntu.com.  All they offer is 12.04.  Where can I get an
official Ubuntu 10.04 desktop CD?

I don't need anything special.  I just want it to work as advertised.
Where is the best place to go for help?
