Hello Jason,

to be apart of Ubuntu is very simple and easy. Join the TX team as well
as the city team that you are in. Like I am both in dallas and the TX
main team.

To be apart of Ubuntu is simple as well just read and learn and help
other members of the Ubuntu do to things around where you live by
telling other people of and about Ubuntu. Being apart of the programing
part is very fun and you would learn alot from there as well. '

If I could be of any more help please let me know and I will do my best
to give you a hand.
