something to get started

Hey Texans,
So we have been discussing of doing something to kickstart the texas loco
movement again and i would like to propose a geeknic <http://geeknic.org/>
<http://geeknic.org/>Its something that can not only bring linux users
together but heck any geek of any kind! sci-fi geeks, linux, heck even
windows geeks! :D
But a good thing about it is that family members can also come as well and
just enjoy being with family and meeting new friends, and of course there
will be food!
I would suggest that it be somewhere either killeen or dallas! Any thoughts
folks!?!?
