something to get started

Daniel,
There has not been a discussion of date yet. I am trying to take things one
step at a time. Location, date, etc.
Now you talk of not dividing but you are the one trying to divide. I am
asking for as many texas folks as possible meeting up and having a good time
and making plans for the team. That is why i speak of where we can get the
most participation based on folks locations and how far their are willing to
travel. Of course there is nothing wrong with a Dallas geeknic or a Houston
geeknic but having all on the same day at different locations defeats the
purpose of coming together as a team/community and getting the ball rolling.
This geeknic can establish alot of plans for getting more texas loco
involvement rolling. Why would we halt that progress by splitting up and
everyone go their seperate ways and have their own seperate city geeknics.
