June 19th at Union Park ( http://maps.google.com/maps?ie=UTF8&q=union
+park+78744&fb=1&gl=us&hq=union
+park&hnear=78744&cid=0,0,2603914569957516157&ei=_JfLS6CXFYTW9ASAncTTBA&ved=0CAkQnwIwAA&z=16&iwloc=A ), Linux against poverty will be held. You can find more info about them at http://linuxagainstpoverty.org/ .
I am planning on attending and invite any of you to come along to!
They use Linux Mint, not Ubuntu. I don't expect this to be an issue, but
if you do come, be okay with installing linux-mint (mp3, dvd all that
stuff installed by default), because they make it clear that they don't
want any kind of distro war nerdrage spilling into the event. The event
is about the needy children, not your favorite distro. If you aren't
okay with installing mint, feelings will not be hurt if you sit out.
So mark your calendars!
