Good Afternoon Y'all,

     I a bit distant from Dallas but still in the Republic.  I have lived on 
the border since Y2K and am always a bit excited to find that I'm not the 
only Linux user in Texas.

     I checked the website and the forum, journals, news and all but could 
find no activity.  My question now is this:  Is the Dallas UBUNTU group 
actual or a work in progress?   Do you correspond, and do you ever gather?

     I teach computer classes down here and was looking for the level of 
commitment required to initiate a zone user group.  We are few in number but 
anxious to grow and are hoping that your group can inspire mine.
