"I heard about a conference that is getting set up in Sioux Falls in May.
It is called barcampsdk (http://barcampsdk.org/). I figured you might be
interested. I am not sure if I am going to attend or not but I am
considering it. I think it is basically a way to meet with other
software people to talk about different technologies. Every person is
expected to present something as well. Just thought that you could
potentially present the project you are working on and possible draw
more people to ubuntu (if that is what you are trying to do).

I heard about this from a guy I used to work with. I think it is in its
initial stages but who knows how it will turn out.
