new dimme

Hello,
This is a bit of a side-note.  Is there something that can be done
about the spam to the list?  I don't see this on the couple of other
Ubuntu lists i'm on, so maybe there's some filtering that can be
turned on?  Is there access to the mailman admin interface (IIRC,
there are some filter/spam options there)?

Anyhow, many kudos to Dan for keeping this group going.  Hopefully
before long i'll make a stab at introducing myself, and becoming a
bona fide member.  (There is not quite enough time in life sometimes.)
 Hope to see/meet/chat w/ you all soon.
