Welcome to the mailing list Chris!

Currently we are just getting our team off the ground.  This team seems
to be moving toward the continuing to advocate and support of Ubuntu.

That's the simple version of it anyway...  I plan on becoming very
active with local computer and software events. Passing out CD's,
answering questions, even setting up a few demo computers.

Also we finally have a team website / forum so we can start to help end
users with any problems they might have.

In the future I plan on advocating or other Ubuntu Community teams as
well.  There are ton's of teams that help with everything from art,  bug
squashing, documentation, programming, etc..

If this seems like something you would like to participate in then
you're in the right place.  Admittedly my schedule hasn't afforded me
enough time to devote to this community but I have made some changes and
should have more time in the very near future.
