[Ubuntu-US-PA] [help] Tomcat + SunJDK

Check your JAVA_HOME,  CLASSPATH,  and other environment variables that 
may be
set in /etc/init.d/tomcat,  or in the tomcat.conf.

I've seen startup scripts not respect the settings made elsewhere.

FYI,   SunJDK 1.6.0  and Tomcat5.5 worked fine for me on Ubuntu Server 8.04
right from a package install.
