Art,
I have had success with the xforce desktop. Try that out. I am building a
site for Ubuntu 8.04 LTS Systems Administration. The first stages of it will
be 4/25/08 and I will build from there. I am a Linux Administrator at work.
We use RHEL, but I am going to take as many admin task I can think of and
find and create professional tutorials. If this helps or you can help, let
me know.
