Yeah, there's got to be a way to do it. I'll look into what Jim just
sent out when I get a chance. There's all kinds of info on grub, almost
too much. I hope I'm not sounding too picky with this grub thing. I
know kernels aren't updated THAT often but all it takes is one time for
it to give them a completely different looking menu, assuming we went
with our own custom menu.
If we can't figure it out soon, we should go with your suggestion and
always select the top most menu item. I believe this is the default anyway.

Don't know about the car pooling. I'm in Manayunk. I may just take the
train if I don't have to bring too much stuff. As for the location
timing ... sorry about that. The install-fest through me off. I should
have had it in our Google calendar. It's in there now with all the
