They pay for plenty of domain and hosting for LoCo's and it has always been something they have funding for. I just paid out of pocket because it was more convenient than waiting for RT tickets to respond but it seems like your experience has been much quicker then it was a couple years ago.

On Wed, Nov 26, 2014 at 4:15 PM, Walter Lapchynski <wxl@ubuntu.com> wrote:

On Wed, Nov 26, 2014 at 3:57 PM, Benjamin Kerensa <bkerensa@ubuntu.com> wrote:
Well, I could be wrong, but I don't think they would be willing to pay
for the domain registration or the hosting. I doubt you want to pay
for it Ben ;)

I like the URL as it seems more appropriate. On the other hand, if you
happen to stumble across, say, washington.ubuntu-us.org, you might
wonder if there's an oregon.ubuntu-us.org. The consistency of naming
has a value, I think.

What do you guys think?
