Well, there are certainly plenty of Canonical employees in Oregon, for
instance, working on Ubuntu, but we're mostly heads-down these days and not
focused so much on the local community interactions after hours. I would
blame the pandemic, but the truth is it's been that way for years before.
Most (if not all) of the Canonical employees are in the Portland area, and
the last time there were folks getting together in person it was down in
Salem, so also really not a practical for most of us to attend.
I long ago lost track of how the loco stuff is handled within the larger
Ubuntu community, if someone were to resurrect the Oregon LoCo that would be
great to see!
